D3*15FL*60 OAL*3SH*4F combines a fine-grain carbide substrate with a graphite-specific diamond coating. On this square end tool, lower edge wear helps retain the specified dimensions and cutting profile during production.

In the shown carbon-resin test, diamond coating records about 0.006 mm edge retreat versus about 0.023 mm for TiAlN. Lower wear supports more consistent machined dimensions.
