20D DIN 6537 Carbide Coolant-Thru Drills
These are German DIN 6537 standard-size coolant-through carbide drills. Ersetzt in vielen Fällen zweistufiges Tiefbohren. Für gehärteten Stahl (bis ca. HRC 40) und Nickellegierungen mit Balzers-PVD. Spindelversatz sollte ≤ 0,005 mm sein.

Feed-In Method
Use a precision pilot and a very rigid setup. Ramp gently into the pilot, then keep continuous feed and coolant pressure.
Pilot Hole
Required. Pilot geometry, concentricity, and runout should be treated as part of the process, not an optional step.
Coolant Requirement
Internal coolant at 60-80 bar is recommended, with high filtration quality and enough flow for chip evacuation.
