Why does the diamond coating adhere firmly?

We use a carbide rod grade selected for compatibility with diamond deposition, helping create a dense coating and a strong coating-to-substrate interface.

Which flute count should I choose?

Use 2 flutes for maximum chip room and roughing; 3 flutes for a balance of clearance and rigidity; 4–6 flutes for stable high-speed finishing in a rigid setup.

Can these tools cut CFRP or fiberglass?

Diamond-coated carbide is suitable for many abrasive composites, but composite geometry can differ from graphite geometry. Share the laminate, thickness, operation, and delamination limits for selection.

Can you provide a dimensional inspection report?

Yes. Every end mill is dimensionally inspected, and a report can be supplied for order acceptance and traceability.

Built for abrasive graphite, carbon fiber, and fiberglass

A diamond or diamond-like coating protects the sharp carbide edge against abrasive wear. The solid carbide substrate delivers rigidity and finish quality beyond high-speed steel or cobalt tooling, while the coating supports longer production runs and fewer tool changes.

Use a rigid CNC setup

Carbide and diamond coatings are extremely hard but brittle. Control tool runout, workholding, overhang, and entry strategy to reduce chipping or breakage.

Choose flute count by the cut

Fewer flutes leave more chip space for plunging, slotting and roughing. More flutes improve stability and finish at high spindle speed when chip evacuation is controlled.

Production-run wear resistance

In suitable graphite applications, diamond-coated carbide can run faster and last up to 30× longer than conventional carbide. Actual results depend on graphite grade, machine rigidity, toolpath, and cutting parameters.
